Dance Twirl & Cheer

Kerrville, TX 78028
The staff at our dance and cheer studio come from a variety of backgrounds. Many of our instructors have grown up in the studio, and are committed to continuing the standards set long ago by Peggy Anne, which include postive reinforcement, safety, and personal development.
My name CeCe Jean Saunders and I am the owner and operator of Peggy Anne - CeCe Jean Dance, Twirl & Cheer. I knew at a very young age that I wanted to follow in my mother, Peggy Anne's, footsteps as I grew up at the studio. I watched her patiently teach her students the art of dance as she made each of them feel beautiful and talented, including me. I knew I had big shoes to fill and I try to make her proud every day. I grew up performing and competing in all the types of dancing and twirling. I graduated from Tivy High School in 1983 and started working side by side with my mom. We worked together until she hung up her tap shoes in 2008 at 81 years old.
I currently coach the competitive cheer & dance teams, the Kerrville Cougars. I also teach non-competitive cheer, ballet, lyrical, jazz, tumbling the older tap. I feel very blessed to have a job that I am so passionate about. I love to watch my students develop self confidence and poise as I hope to make memories that will last a lifetime. It is so rewarding to have our former students grow up and bring their children and grandchildren to participate in our classes and make their own memories.
I am so lucky to have such an amazing staff that I can trust to care about our students and want them to achieve their personal best. They are more than employees to me - we are a family!
I am married to Billy and we have 5 wonderful children and 3 precious grandchildren, most of whom have participated in our classes.
My name is Angela Espinosa and I am a 2006 graduate of Tivy High School where I took part in various Performing Arts activities such as Show Choir, One Act Play, 4 years on The Golden Girls Dance Team, Danceline USA Elite Team Member 2004-2006. During my senior Year i began teaching at Tx Cheer and Dance Company in San Antonio where our squads were able to perform at the Arneson River Theatre in Downtown San Antonio along with UTSA and Spurs half time shows. I began teaching hip hop at Peggy Anne and CeCe Jean's in 2008 and have since taught Jazz, Ballet and the Kerrville Cougars Competitive Dance Teams. I have one daughter (Ava) who is a member of both cheer and dance competition teams along with one stepson (Mason) who enjoys baseball and basketball. My Fiance Pete is a local Barber and during the day and I am a Medical Assistant at a local Sports Medicine/Family Practice Clinic.
My name is Cheyanne Klein-Saunders and I teach both younger and older tumbling, choreograph cheer and dance solos, and coach our competitive teams- the Kerrville Cougars. Growing up in this studio along side my mother, CeCe Jean, I quickly developed an interest in the business and have been officially employed for 6 years. Personally, this is more than a job for me as I hope to make a difference in my student's life. I've had the opportunity to experience and performed all the classes we offer, competed in dance and cheer with the Kerrville Cougars, cheered for Tivy High School and was previously a part of the All-Girl UTSA college cheerleading squad.
My name is Joshua O'Brien and I have been teaching tumbling classes here at Peggy Anne - CeCe Jean's for over five years. Before starting here I coached at Stellar Gymnastic here in Kerrville. I am married and have two little girls Eowyn, and Arwen and look forward to seeing them in classes here as they get older.
Greetings! My name is Elsita "Mrs. Elsita" Bratcher, I am a proud wife & mother of 5 beautiful children (4 of them present dancers). Growing up- I myself, was a dance student of Mrs. Peggy Anne (tap) & CeCe Jean (lyrical) & have performed in dance recitals through their program. Through their teaching I developed not only a passion for dancing, but teaching as well. Throughout my Jr. high & high school years I was a cheerleader & Golden Girl. As an adult I have also started & choreographed a youth praise/dance team for a local church. I have been teaching tap for 8+ years at the studio. Formally being a student & spectator to my own daughters classes has allowed me to humbly stay true to Mrs. Peggy Anne's teaching, while keeping her legacy alive. Four years ago, we started our "Mom & Tot" program, which has been successfully gearing up our future tappers for total independence. I have enjoyed each & every moment watching & helping these toddlers develop their independence.
Over the years, I have learned that being a teacher is so much more than teaching technique & choreography- through my teaching I manage to teach life long values such as; respect, responsibility, maturity, accountability, & confidence, while having fun in hopes that my students would progress into having such a fury for dance just as I do!
My name is Chase Rothermel. I graduated from Tivy High School where I played football and pole vaulted. I then Attended McNeese State University for three years where I was first introduced to the sport of competitive Cheerleading. While cheering for my University, I worked at Gymnastics Etc.. This is where I was formally instructed on proper technique and gymnastics form. After returning to my hometown I began coaching at Peggy Anne - CeCe Jean's and have been with CeCe for two years now. I am also a student at Schreiner University where I am currently pursuing my bachelor of Nursing. I love coaching. One of my goals in life is to leave a positively impact on the world. I see coaching as a small step in that direction. Some of my favorite things to do in my spare time are riding my bike, swimming, and being outdoors.
My name is Jessica Ramirez and I just got married in April to my wonderful husband Alex. I coach the Kerrville Cougars Cheer Teams, non-competitive cheer and beginner through advanced tumbling. I started coaching at CeCe's at the beginning of June of 2016. I cheered for 8 years competitively growing up. I started competitive cheerleading in Nevada with Sierra Spirit Cheerleading and ended my cheer career in the St. Louis area with Spirit Elite Cheerleading were I was on levels 3 and 4 with both gyms.
